That building that looks like a nuclear plant actually produces atmosphere! It grinds up waste rock and converts the carbon into CO2 and other nasty gases. You can't breathe it yet, and the pollutants periodically get washed out as toxic rains, but at least it's air! Pretty much!

While I don’t trust Kurtzman and Goldsman to do anything right, I’m glad the aim is more episodic storytelling and a less dark tone. It’s the right direction, even if it’s not the right people to achieve it.

I just want optimism and wonder in my science fiction sometimes.
