It's Secret Celestia time!

This year, we're going to try returning to a gift exchange!

We will be using Elfster again this year for organization. Elfster is a Secret Santa Web site that handles assignments with a friendly interface.

How to sign up:

Some information your Secret Celestia will need: Your forums username, any special shipping directions, and whether you are okay with decorations on the envelope of your card (if your Celestia so desires).

Also, please post your wish list in this thread to give your Secret Celestia any ideas that might help!

What's the deadline?
Please sign up by Tuesday, Nov. 5th. Assignments will be sent out the next day, Wednesday, Nov. 6th.

What to give

A thoughtful gift worth about $15-20 is the guideline. Going beyond that is fine too, but you should expect your own gift to fall in that range. If it's clear you didn't put any thought into your gift, or especially if you don't send anything, you may be banned from the forums.

What NOT to give

Nothing illegal, nothing that would be seized by customs, and nothing breakable. Examples:

• Nothing dangerous, even if it's a collectible (e.g. knives)
• Avoid perishables, especially meat and produce
• Alcohol may be okay domestically, but it's usually a no-go internationally
• Liquids need to be packed super well to protect against breakage.

Edit for anyone who's new to using Elfster, like me: Click your santee's name, click "Secret Q & A" on the left, then click "answered" to see your santee's TRS name and envelope decorating preferences.

In general I'd like stuff about comic strips, the more obscure the better. Especially if there's something local in your area (I prefer humorous stuff in general)

I also draw a lot traditionally, so any markers and papers (I prefer cardstock) are welcome.

I'm also considering traditional animation again, so animation paper's nice, too.

Plus any local snacks. I love chocolate a lot, for example.

Alright, time to do this thing again like the years before, and my interests have pretty much remained the same.

- Model kits wishlist. Keep in mind there's some big and/or unicorny stuff on there that I put on more as a reference for myself should I ever stumble across it at a reasonable price. To keep down shipping costs I'd recommend browsing some of the local retailers here in Bulgaria (hobbylandbg.com is one of them, there's also hobbycult.com) as I know international shipping can be costly and/or slow.
- Outside of regular scale models I've also gotten into Gunpla, mainly a fan of the Universal Century stuff. I've got a few kits done already, over on the wishlist page you can also check my completed kits.
- I'm also a big fan of Transformers, Megaman games and Zelda games. Got a Steam wishlist too around here somewhere, although I don't really have much time for gaming anymore.
- Candy and treats are welcome, I'll try anything once. It'd be nice to get something local from your area. I don't have any allergies you need to consider.
- In case you feel like sending t-shirts, I've gone up to a US XXL in size as XL is no longer cutting it these days. I prefer the more subtle stuff so I can wear it to work too.

Been super busy lately so I forgot to post here, hopefully this didn't inconvenience whoever was assigned for me.

1. I'm big into models. Trains, military stuff, even Gundams and mecha mesume things. I especially like weird and interesting looking subjects like conceptual or sci-fi models that never existed in real life or only as prototypes in so far as any non-IP related subjects go.

2. History stuff is also pretty cool, always something interesting out there I don't know about.

3. If you really want to send a shirt, my size is US XL. If it's a pony thing (or heck, railroad related) it's fine, but I'm not really in need of any shirts for the most part.

Gift time!

My Santa this year was none other than SlateSlabrock!



And man, you hit this one right out of the park!



This hits the sweet spot in where I am right now with modeling, since I've done a lot of Gunpla (never Macross, though) but I'm dipping my toes into full on military models, and this mecha looks like the lovechild of both. Can't wait to get this bad boy on the workbench and see how far I want to take this build! Thank you so much!

So, that's not an 'OST' - that's a DVD containing what I believe are several documentaries or featurettes that promote Jungle Jim's, which is the largest supermarket in the world (though I usually go to the second location as it's much closer to where I live). It's definitely something you have to see to believe exists.

And below that a Gundam (Now I have to watch 08th MS Team), a wonderful puzzle of Jiji from Kiki's Delivery Service (Still need to convince Aline to watch that with me) as well as some very nice chopsticks.
