Post by Fizzbuzz (?) » Mon Apr 05, 2021 11:09 pm

Close Encounters Of The Balloon Kind
When a mysterious, giant balloon lands in town, the Mane 6 speculate what it could be.

The Tiara Of Truth
When Pinkie Pie's friends are late to a special cupcake tasting, she learns the truth about where they were.

Terrorarium
Applejack discovers a magical flower friend, but before she knows it, things grow wildly out of control.

Bubble Trouble
Spike and the ponies find a super fun magical bubble wand inside one of the mysterious balloons.
Tiny Pop ain't stopping with Pony Life and neither are we! But beware, half of this season has already leaked. I will keep posting these threads in line with the Tiny Pop airings, but if you want to watch ahead, there's links in #ponyday as usual.

MLP Without Context is basically the only fan content creator that does anything with Pony Life, and they have decided to make posts following the US airings, so I don't have much incentive to not follow the US schedule. Thus, won't be posting in this thread for a bit.

With these episodes, we now know for a fact that this season will retain the heavy use of story arcs, since this story with the balloon hasn't ended by the end of this 30 minute block. Though it also looks like they've completely dropped the potion concept.

Individually, all of these stories were a lot of fun, but all together, it's weird that no one is doing anything about these balloons. Especially since Twilight says they need to get to the root of this at the end of "Terrorarium", but come the start of the next story, she's just waiting around in Sugar Cube Corner and just reacting to another balloon.

There isn't too much to say about each part, since they're all "weird thing shows up, the characters react" stories. I did enjoy the last one the most, since there are fun visuals and both Spike and Tank get involved. "Terrorarium" marks the first appearance of Big Mac in the show, and the choice to make his head even bigger rather than make his body larger is... a choice.
