I love getting artwork. I'm pretty sure these are characters based on the Changelings from MLP, although I haven't seen the episode with the stag looking one yet (I really need to catch up).

The worst part of the mail is the inconsistency. My water bill showed up a day earlier than expected but I'm still Christmas cards in the mail.

Postal services here have been highly irregular too, earlier this week we got a package that was shipped from the US at the end of november. Tracking showed it getting into the country on the 21st of december.

I had an international letter to send. I have never done that before (but was shocked how cheap it is for an international stamp).

But given the pandemic and US post office shortages, who knows when it will arrive. I don't even know how long it would take during normal times.

Just to give you an idea on how widely it can vary, last month I got a package in the mail that was postmarked 6 months prior. It was sent from New Jersey to my home state of Tennessee.

My parents didn't get their water bill until today despite them living only 10 minutes down the road and having the same water company. We usually get them on the same day.

I’m starting to think that it would be better to just write another letter or make another card and mail that. It’s been 5 weeks exactly since I mailed it (yes I saved the receipt so I would remember )

I'm glad it finally got there, I was a bit worried. Postal service here is not all that great and I've discovered they like to only deliver to our house once a week because we're on the edge of a small town on top of a hill. Last week I got a package and they had decided to just staple a letter from the bank to it instead of delivering it separately. Apparently this was easier for them.

So for whoever sent me something, no need to worry.
