Naturally the Mariners finished 9th in the AL, 2 games back, when 8 teams made the playoffs. but at least they helped give Houston a losing record and they had some exciting young players so the outlook for next year is pretty good, especially if they manage to get a functional bullpen!

The Brewers made the playoffs despite having never spent a single day all season above .500. :unenthused:
