I really enjoy Maud. She is a fun foil for Pinkie Pie, and it's cute to see how much they care about each other despite being so different.

It's the applicability of the joke that makes it work. The different scenarios Maud is put into and how she reacts is what, to me, makes this episode funny. :-P
