I'm late! For a very important
date episode!
For some reason Comcast never recorded this one. So I got on the internet and purchased it (I was gonna purchase this season regardless, so no big). Now, at last, a free evening for two-week-old pony. Here goes!
1. Okay, we're at the animal sanctuary
and they're being fed, which means I must cool it with the "Fluttershy forgot she owns a sanctuary and the animals starved" jokes.
For now.
2.
3. Points for restraint in avoiding a "Rarity asked Muffins" gag. Because that would have been my go-to.
4. Credits. I never noticed before but in the first shot, we cut away JUST before Big Mac and Sugar Belle touch lips. Tough luck, you two: cockblocked by editing.
5. Oh god, Fluttershy is totally me when I'm being trained.
This episode might be one that hits home.
6.
[shoves friend aside]
7. All's well now that the raccoons are here.
8. Fluttershy *does* have freaky knowledge o' sewing but these are some next-level job demands.
9. Nice of the customer to wait 45 minutes while Fluts changes, fixes her hair and rehearses.
10. I'm hoping this is like that old 'toon where a truck spills a bunch of hats around town, and they land on passersby who immediately start acting like cowboys, firemen, etc.
11. Oh, didn't expect Rarity would get a B-plot. It's awesome that she's concerned for her friend and isn't obliviously busy like she sometimes gets.
12. Ha, one word from valley girl and Fluts is back in a tailspin of despair.
13.
"woke"
14.
15. Wait, Joan Holloway-Harris pony is
British? Mind. Blown.
16. That the raccoons apparently think Spike is their HR person (raccoon resources?) is hilarious, somehow.
17. Oh wait, Twilight's there too. I love that she takes OOC Fluttershy as seriously as any deadly threat to Equestria.
18. Ha, she's lost in her character like Kirk Lazarus.
19. One firing for each ponysona, this is great.
20. New warrior dress has Fluts rocking the Wonder Woman look.
21. Credits: "Insufferable Pony 1" and "Insufferable Pony 2".

So all in all, this whole thing was just an excuse for Andrea Libman to do silly characters.
And it was
fabulous.
